Lead a $150M Greenfield SAP Transformation 

The Opportunity

Talent Aligned has partnered with an iconic Australian health organization to secure a seasoned SAP Programme Director.
This is an extremely rare and urgent opportunity to take the helm of a $150 million greenfield SAP implementation. With the discovery phase successfully completed, we are seeking a strategic leader to drive the pivotal build phase and deliver a monumental technology transformation.

This role offers exceptional flexibility in its engagement model. Our client is open to a two-year Fixed Term Contract with a one-year extension option, or a daily rate contract structure.

The Role:

As the SAP Programme Director, you will act as the strategic anchor for this massive initiative, reporting directly to and managing the executive leadership committee.
You will inherit a robust internal structure, with the PMO Lead and Tech PM reporting directly to you.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving the programme from the completed discovery phase through to build, testing, and eventual go-live.

• Managing and guiding multiple tier-one integration partners and external vendors.

• Overseeing the complex transition from legacy Oracle and JD Edwards systems to a modern SAP environment.

• Fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture across all internal tech teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements for success:

• Proven experience acting as a Programme Director on large-scale enterprise technology transformations in SAP.

• Demonstrated success in delivering multiple SAP modules end-to-end on major enterprise projects.

• Strong functional knowledge of legacy Oracle and JD Edwards environments to effectively manage the migration strategy would be a benefit

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead executive committees and align diverse business units.

• A resilient and empathetic leadership style focused on team cohesion, minimizing friction, and ensuring sustainable delivery.

The Package:

• Extremely generous packages available at very senior levels both Contract and Fixed term for the right level of experience. 

• Location: Hybrid working model requiring 3 days a week in a premium Sydney inner-city corporate office.
