Hourly Rate: $45 – $50 per hour (depending on experience) + Shift Loadings & Bonus
Shifts: Rotating weekly

• 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

About the Role

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking two Mechanical Maintenance Fitters to join their team. The maintenance department currently operates with a small team and is experiencing a high demand for support. These positions are critical to ensuring effective preventive maintenance (PPM), breakdown response, and process improvement initiatives.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a highly automated production environment, requiring strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to equipment reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Carry out machining (lathe, milling, drilling) and fabrication as required
• Welding (TIG) experience is advantageous but not essential
• Troubleshoot and support PLC systems (basic programming experience is highly regarded)
• Work within LEAN manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce downtime

Candidate Requirements

• Trade-qualified Fitter/Machinist (dual mechanical/electrical trade is advantageous)
•  Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within FMCG or automated production facilities
• Strong expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to work within a rotating shift schedule
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

• Competitive hourly rate: $45 – $50 per hour, depending on experience
• Additional shift loadings: 25% for afternoon shift, 30% for night shift
