Production Supervisor – Printing and Packaging 
Location: Chatswood, Sydney | Full-time | On-site

A growing, highly respected provider of digital printing and direct mailing solutions, known for delivering exceptional quality and service are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead their busy production floor and warehouse operations.

A background in packaging or printing is highly regarded but not essential.


About the Role:

As our Production Supervisor, you’ll oversee all production activities, staff coordination, and workflow management, ensuring jobs are completed on time, to specification, and at the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with customer service and production teams to keep everything running safely, smoothly, and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Supervise daily operations to ensure timely and high-quality job completion.

  • Scheduling: Coordinate with customer service teams to manage daily production schedules.

  • Pre-Assembly Oversight: Manage inventory movement and ensure pre-assembly processes are ready for production.

  • Health & Safety: Foster a clean, safe, and positive work environment for all staff.

  • Quality Control: Review finished jobs against specifications and implement improvements when needed.

  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot production, machinery, and warehouse issues quickly and effectively.

  • Maintenance: Carry out basic machine maintenance and assist with inventory and materials management.


Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

  • Proven supervisory experience in a production, printing, mailing, or manufacturing environment is a strong advantage.

  • Strong understanding of production workflows and quality control processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret job orders and technical specifications.

  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality.

  • Effective problem-solving skills under pressure.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Knowledge of safety standards within a production environment.

  • Forklift certification is a bonus, but not required.
