The Role

Reporting to the Drafting Manager, the Draftsperson will be responsible for preparing detailed design and workshop drawings for mechanical services systems, plant rooms, and equipment.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing high-quality mechanical services drawings for HVAC systems and equipment

  • Converting engineering concepts into accurate CAD models and documentation

  • Coordinating with project teams and suppliers to ensure design integration

  • Managing document control, RFIs, and technical correspondence

  • Ensuring compliance with drawing standards, codes, and company processes


About You

You’re an experienced draftsperson or design technician with a strong background in mechanical services or building construction. You take pride in precision, enjoy working collaboratively, and can manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.

You’ll bring:

  • Relevant qualification in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, CadDuct, and Navisworks (Revit MEP highly desirable)

  • Experience preparing workshop drawings and 3D coordinated models

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and plant room layouts

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
